In just a few days, a new DEIF Academy site will open its doors. Located at DEIF corporate headquarters in Skive, Denmark, the facility is our second Academy site, following the opening of our Ft Lauderdale, USA, Academy in October 2024.
The new site will cater to customers in Europe, the Near East, and Africa. Like its counterpart in Ft Lauderdale, it offers a dedicated and optimised training environment, regardless of the level of training you need.
“We offer four types of training, from basic training to customised course content,” explains DEIF Academy Manager Ulrik Hannesbo. “Our Fundamentals and Advanced courses focus on specific DEIF products; they teach you how to make the most of your devices, and they show you how to use them in energy management applications. In addition, we offer dedicated seminars on energy management application design that take a holistic view of the design process, and we offer customised training that gives you a highly personalised experience when your team needs to focus on specific technologies, operational strategies, or challenges.”

Training at the Academy is based on specialist course material prepared by DEIF industry experts with decades of experience. Importantly, the curriculum is the same whether you sign up for courses at Ft Lauderdale, Skive, or an upcoming Academy site farther east.
“You get the same high-level content no matter where you meet us,” says Ulrik Hannesbo. “This is particularly important for international organisations; they can have their staff sign up for training at whichever Academy is closest, confident that they’ll get the same outcome no matter where they go.”
To further ensure a consistent learning outcome, Academy training at all locations is carefully coordinated and handled by DEIF experts who have years of hands-on experience working with application engineering, and who are experienced communicators.
