Double redundancy (1)

Eliminating single points of failure is of paramount importance in mission-critical backup power systems. Designing for redundancy throughout  the installation is the most efficient way of ensuring uninterrupted uptime despite adverse conditions such as controller failure and loss of communication. Redundancy is not limited to any one particular feature or technology; instead, system designers need to view it as a general design approach that should be applied to all aspects of the backup power system, and all systems that it interfaces with.
